In honour of the French wine harvesting season traditionally held between September and October, Sofitel Hotels & Resorts worldwide unite to celebrate wine and new French art de vivre during the annual festival, Sofitel Wine Days. Embrace Sofitel's trademark elegance and enjoy the authentic partnership between gastronomy and French wine with a range of hand-crafted experiences.

This year, Sofitel Brisbane Central offers guests a unique glimpse into Australian and French wines throughout the festivities with divine culinary offerings. A range of wine partners will be showcased throughout the celebrations including Bollinger, Henschke and Yalumba Rare & Fine.

 

Henschke Wine Maker Dinner - 27 September - SOLD OUT

Sofitel Brisbane Central presents an exclusive dinner perfectly paired with wines from the house of Henschke presented by Chief Winemaker Paul Hampton. 

Delight in an exquisite menu carefully curated by Executive Chef Patrice Falantin, inspired by gastronomie Française and infused with Brisbane’s unique flavours.

Indulge in an evening of refined flavours and discover a selection of the most revered wines the Henschke house has to offer.

We are excited to announce the release of the Yalumba Rare & Fine Wine List now available in Prive249. Throughout Barossa and Coonawarra, pockets of carefully tended vines have been hand-selected to provide the fruit for Yalumba's very best and most sought-after wines. Crafted only when all the elements of viticulture and winemaking interact perfectly, these wines are the very best examples of the varieties and blends that have found a natural home in Australia over the past five generations. During Sofitel Wine Days guests can choose between a two or three course menu matched with the Yalumba Rare & Fine wine list.

For 2019, our exclusive buffet restaurant sees the addition of wines from both Henschke and Bollinger as we celebrate fine wines from all over the world. Start the celebrations with Bollinger's Special Cuvee, available by the glass or enjoy the addition of the Henschke Coralinga Sauvignon Blanc or Five Shillings Shiraz as the perfect accompaniment to your meal.

 

Cuvée Lounge Bar

Apero Chic is a lavish ritual of the French joie de vivre. Unwind at the end of the day in Cuvee Lounge Bar with a glass of Bollinger Special Cuvee perfectly paired with smoked trout blini.
