At Sofitel Brisbane Central, we are working hard to ensure that the health and safety of our guests is our top priority. We have aligned with the Accor ALLSAFE Program and have introduced a COVID-19 Safe plan for our hotel to ensure that our hygiene standards are meeting those of the Australian Government and our guests, partners and ambassadors have an indulgent and safe experience.

What are we doing? 

Our staff have had comprehensive safety training to effectively achieve the highest criteria of sanitisation practices in alignment with the Australian Department of Health standards. Our improved cleaning program ensures that public areas of the hotel will be sanitised more frequently with a specific focus on all high touch areas, including door knobs, bathrooms and the front desk – just to name a few.

To reinforce a safe dining experience, our restaurants, in-room dining and bar service have increased hygiene protocols across all aspects of business. Staff are required to practice hygiene through social distancing, frequent disinfection of all surfaces, alcohol-based hand sanitiser and the use of masks & gloves. These standards transition over to food preparation, plating and service to safeguard our guests’ health. We have also removed minibars from rooms to minimise contact with guests.

Our ambassadors have been strictly advised to please stay at home if they are feeling unwell before their shift or, immediately inform a supervisor if they start to feel unwell during their shift. Our guests will have access to a dedicated health hotline during their stay to answer any questions regarding COVID-19 and as of July, will have access to medical professionals and tele-medical support for peace of mind leading up to your stay.

What can you do?

As Australians, we continue to take the required steps that safeguard our country from COVID-19 so we ask that our guests do the same within our hotel. We have provided the necessary protocols to make your health and safety a priority through providing masks & alcohol-based hand sanitiser at your request, following engineered social distancing floor plans and health checks when necessary.

When dining, we ask that contactless payment be made to minimise contact where possible.

Restaurants & In-room dining

Thyme2 Restaurant - Due to the Australian Government’s health and safety regulations around COVID-19, our famed buffet is currently unavailable. Thyme2 Restaurant is now delivering a unique all day, a la carte dining experience, 7 days a week. Bookings are required due to capacity restrictions. Find out more here.

Cuvee Lounge Bar – Cuvee Lounge Bar is open from 3:00pm – 10:00pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays serving irresistible beverages, light meals and snacks. Bookings are required due to capacity restriction. Find out more here.

In-room dining – Our 24-hour in-room dining is still available, with elevated health and safety protocols to provide our guests with the safest delivery. Contactless delivery is available upon request. Find out more here.

Harlequin Jack - Harlequin Jack is open from Monday - Friday, 11:00am - 8:30pm  serving lunch and dinner bistro style. Full service bar and gaming room are both still in service. Please note, the gaming room will only allow a maximum of 20 people.

Prive249, Club Millesime and High Tea are currently closed until further notice.


Hotel Amenities and Services

The pool deck is open Monday - Sunday 6:00am - 9:00pm. Please note, the spa will be closed until further notice. Our team is working under the Queensland Government restrictions to adhere to capacity numbers, social distancing and elevated cleaning protocols. Please see reception on to access the pool deck.

Stephanie’s Luxury Spa, located on level 3 is open to guests and the wider community. Following COVID-19 guidelines, bookings for the spa are essential. Find out more here.
