Fiercely independent and extremely progressive, Yalumba was established in 1849 making it Australia’s oldest family owned winery. This curated list will feature:

Block 2 Grenache Rose 2018 which is rose gold in colour, with a delicate nose showing white nectarine, alpine strawberry, jasmine and hints of almond meal. A silky palate entry shows raspberry and pomegranate followed by creaminess in the mid palate that leads to a lovely briny finish.

Vine Vale Grenache 2017 has been crafted from vines planted in 1949, from Yalumba’s Tri- Centenary Vineyard in Vine Vale. Elegant, rich and balanced, this is the definitive Barossa Grenache. The Vine Vale has a light to medium depth with the alluring fragrance of rose water, wild strawberry and dried rosemary.

The Tri Centenary Barossa Grenache 2015 showcases the essence of Grenache, sourced from vine that have been in the ground for 130 years. These exceptional grapes are complex on the nose with lovely aromatics offering cedar scents, meld with tones of pomegranate, wild strawberries, violets and red petals.

The Octavius 2015 is a truly individual wine, handcrafted and matured in fine French oak and Yalumba coopered American octave barrels. Very deep in colour, this Shiraz showcases vibrant aromas of dark cherries, aniseed and liquorice. It is distinctive and seductive with exotic spices and espresso coffee.

The Signature 46th Vintage 2015 is medium to deep brick red in colour and opens with perfumed fruits, showing blue exotic florals, pomegranate and cranberry with milk chocolate and liquorice depth. The palate is medium weighted with a fresh, tight acidity carrying through.

The Caley Cabernet & Shiraz 2014 is the pinnacle of a long winemaking journey of excellence, which rightfully honours one of Yalumba’s most adventurous sons. A blend of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and Barossa Shiraz, The Caley is a classic marriage of two mobile varieties and two great Australian wine regions.
