Olafur Eliasson: Presence
Internationally acclaimed Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson presents Presence, a Brisbane-exclusive, multi-sensory exhibition at GOMA. Spanning the gallery’s ground floor, the exhibition brings together major early works and striking site-specific installations that explore light, perception and our relationship to the environment.
Highlights include the mist-formed rainbow of Beauty (1993), the immersive landscape of Riverbed (2014), and the ever-evolving LEGO city The cubic structural evolution project (2004). Inspired by Eliasson’s Icelandic heritage, Presence invites visitors to move, reflect and experience art with the whole body.
