Ballet, bubbles, and high tea

On Sunday, 8 May 2022, our breathtaking Ballroom Le Grand was abuzz with over three hundred mums and their loved ones for our sold-out Mother's Day High Tea with Queensland Ballet, a proud, long-standing partner of Sofitel Brisbane Central. 

Always a highly-anticipated event, after a two-year hiatus, this year's event was even more special as a result, and we were thrilled to once again be able to play host. 

A luxurious afternoon that won’t be forgotten anytime soon, guests on the day were treated to French bubbles on arrival and an exquisite, quintessentially-French high tea.

Though undoubtedly the highlight of the afternoon for all was the exclusive performance by the unbelievably talented and inspiring Queensland Ballet Academy dancers.

Beyond this mesmerising performance, the event concluded with a Q&A with some of the dancers as well as a lucky door prize giveaway, which included tickets to the academy's upcoming performance Aspire '22.

Thank you to all those who attended and our partners at Queensland Ballet for another incredibly successful and memorable event - we hope all the mums had a wonderful Mother’s Day!
